On this page we'll tell you a bit about how processing and shipping your order works on our end.
After placing your order
Since both of us create everything on our own, we don't work with the classic "x amount in store" system. Most of our items are made to order, so an estimate is displayed on product pages - if it takes longer, we'll be sure to let you know!
We have a shipping partner that handles our non-domestic packages, but they require us to bundle them as well as possible. That's why we only bring packages to our shipping partner up to twice a week, usually Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday, they will then process it with DHL/FedEx and provide us with a tracking code 1-2 business days later.
Transit times
Keep in mind that these are rough estimates; we've seen faster deliveries but occasionally slower as well. Most deliveries should be within the timeframe mentioned below though.
In addition, the whole pandemic situation may add some time as customs can be turned into a bottleneck.
DHL Standard shipping:
Domestic (Netherlands) - 1-2 business days
EU - 2-5 business days
Worldwide - 5-12 business days
FedEx Priority shipping (US only)
2-4 business days
Shipping costs
Update: starting 21-08-2020, we changed to weight-based shipping which should save you shipping costs in almost all cases. Discounted or even free shipping above certain order totals still applies. Base weight is 50 grams (box & packaging).
Our shipping costs differ quite a bit, but we've tried to make a proper overview below. We realise the costs can be a bit steep, so we tried to make it up a bit for larger orders. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@speechlessbard.com!

Shipping is done through PostNL, weight is not enough of a factor to justify a difference in costs. Shipping costs based on order total.

Weight-based shipping through DHL, discounted shipping on orders €200 and higher. Optional upgrade to FedEx Priority. Keep in mind that duties/taxes may be owed upon import from the EU, please check if this applies in your case.
